Got an idea?
Have you got an idea to improve your community and need a bit of funding to get it going?
Maybe your endeavour needs funds to grow and be more effective.
When and where will it be?
1:00-3:30pm Sunday 18 August at The Pirate Bar, 25 Green St, Mount Hawthorn.
How it works
Each presenter gets 5 minutes to present your idea to an audience. Learn more.
After listening to all presentations, the audience votes for the idea they want to award the money to.
Who can pitch?
Anybody. Young, old and ages in between.
The only criteria is that you have an idea to improve the Vincent community and you tell the crowd what the funds will be used for.
Why do it?
The winner gets the money to build their idea.
More importantly, all presenters get publicity and networking opportunities - there might just be someone in the audience who can help your project.
How much money is on offer?
The amount varies - it depends on the number of people in the audience. Each audience member pays $10. All proceeds go into the prize money.
The past two events ended raising more than $1,000 for each winner.
